Nobody dances.
The lights go down, the music starts, and 200 kids stand in a ring around an empty floor waiting for somebody else to go first. Teachers try to start it and that makes it worse. By the time anything happens there’s forty minutes left and half the kids have decided the dance was a bust.
It isn’t the music. It’s almost never the music.
It’s that nobody in the room has been given permission to start. That’s a hosting job, and most school DJs don’t do it because it isn’t what they were hired for. They were hired to play songs.

A school dance done properly isn’t a night of music. It’s the night the quiet kid gets pulled into a group game and ends up with people to sit with on Monday. That’s the actual product.

The full night. Sound and lighting, a host on the mic the whole way through, the game rotation that fills the floor in the first ten minutes, and the complete Viva Boom effects build on top. CO2 cannons, confetti, cold sparks, bubbles, LED and the photo booth. This is what makes a school dance feel like an actual event instead of a gym with music in it.
We take on your whole year. Dances, assemblies, dry grad and family nights, plus the fundraising side: we help you plan the events, run them, and actually raise the money. One agreement across the calendar at better rates than booking them one at a time, and the same team every time, who already know your school.
Dry grad and overnight events are quoted separately. Multi school and district bookings welcome.
The floor gets opened with a game, not a slow song. Something with a score, a name and a reason to step forward. Once thirty kids are moving, the rest follow, and you never have to fight for the floor again all night.
From there it’s a rotation. Music, a game, music, a competition, music, a moment. The room never gets a chance to go flat and drift back to the walls.
There’s a person on the mic the whole time whose actual job is reading the room and deciding what happens next. Not a laptop on shuffle.
Same idea, smaller humans. A baby rave is a daytime dance party built for the little ones, and it is the easiest room I ever work. Nobody that age has learned to be embarrassed yet. The music goes on and they go.
Volume comes down, the lights stay friendly, and the floor fills with bubbles, balloons, confetti and a fog blast that gets a scream every single time. Parents dance too. That is not a bonus, that is the point. It is a family event, not a drop off.
Schools run these as kindergarten welcome events, early years family nights and PAC fundraisers where the little siblings finally get something of their own. Community centres and street festivals book them for the same reason.

Long night, changing energy, needs a host who can carry it from 10pm to 4am. We provide every part of the entertainment and hosting, from photo booths to magicians to DJs to game shows and more.

Yes. Liability insurance is carried on every event and a certificate is available on request. Send it straight to whoever on your committee needs it on file.
That’s the job, and it’s the reason to hire a host rather than a DJ. The floor gets opened with a game instead of a song, because a game gives kids a reason to step forward that isn’t “be the first person dancing.” Once thirty are moving, it holds for the rest of the night.
Gyms are most of what we do. The sound gets set for the room, not for a nightclub, and the game rotation means the night doesn’t depend on the acoustics being perfect.
We send you a song request link, you pass it on to the students, and we get to see what they are actually listening to right now. The set list gets built from that, so the floor fills with music they chose themselves rather than what we guessed at.
Everything is clean-edit and screened for the age group. If your school has a specific list of what’s not allowed, send it and it’s honoured. Song lists can be reviewed in advance on request.
Yes. PO friendly and invoiced however your school needs it, to the school or to the PAC.
That’s the goal. We often set up annual deals with schools to cover all of their events for the year on one agreement, at better rates than booking them one at a time. It also means the same host every time, who already knows your students, your gym and what your school does not want.
